These short stories are a nice teaser while waiting for next book in https://www.goodreads.com/series/79121-immortal series. I love how Gene connected two otherwise separate worlds (Immortal & Fixer) - some would call it a "shameless plug", but if it's good, why not? It's like reading cross fanfiction but made by the author himself. :)

In short - this short is about a "going mad" period of Adams (long) life and its perception in that time. While being quite paranoid he meets John Corrigan who seems even more mad than him. But is he really? ( )
