I am on page 92 and let me tell you that this is a very inspirational book and I am loving it. Well I am finally almost done with this one and let me tell you that I actually thought this book was not going be that great and it turned it out to be one of my favorites. You must read this when you get a chance its a quick read and you will love it. Meanwhile, his mother is the one who takes care of him, but his heart is with his father. As he ages, he has many hard times in life and as a result realizes that if he had "one more day" to spend with his mother, his life would have more meaning. Recommend. ***March 15, 2024*** Chick Benetto is unhappy with his life. He has lost his family. Chick has tried to end his life. One night drunk, he drives to his old hometown. He is in a car accident shortly, before reaching the town. He comes out of the accident and makes his way to his mother's house. His mother has died, several years before, he still owns the house. Suddenly he encounters his dead mother, who asks what he is doing. His memories of his mother come back to him, as he follows her through her day. He learns things about her that he did not know. After his encounter, Chick changes his ways becomes sober and repairs the relationship with his family. no reviews | add a review
