Book description
The end’s not a time, it’s a place. And it’s getting closer.

From east to west, on a single front traveling northward at the steady pace of one league per hour, the Flat is unraveling—collapsing into the abyss. The world is literally falling from under people’s feet, and from the Kingdom of Trion in the North to the Seigneury of Pontaigues in the South, no one seems to give a rotten shit about it, caught up as they are in their mundane troubles: the elf inventor with a taste for dangerous men; the dwarf girl and argumentative bookworm with dreams of magic; the paladin hunted by his former brethren; the overreaching bard trapped by his own ambitions; a hopeless young knight and a mad queen of cats; a gruff veteran and a peppy toymaker lady… none of them have the faintest clue that their problems, their hopes, and even their lives don’t matter anymore.

No one knows, but her: the princess, who sets out on a journey across the Flat with nothing in her pockets but a shiny copper coin and visions of wizards, elves, and the mysterious city of Sher Ashelon. And dragons, a skyful of dragons.

A Taste of Fire is the first episode of the Dragonmore series. The following instalment is set for release in Spring 2013.
