For some reason Stiles is fighting vampires alone and (appears to) die - but guess what, he wakes up a vampire and joins Beacon Hills' supernatural community. Derek really steps up to help him deal with his vampirism.

The beginning started off very engaging and then promptly couldn't hold my attention after Chapter Two. The writing isn't bad, but the voice is very "youthful." The dialogue reads very scripted rather than natural - I can't really imagine any of the characters speaking in such a manner. Characters were identifiable, but not particularly IC, Derek and Stiles being the most OOC.
