A timid jackal become king of the forest by virtue of his extraordinary color. When a lion killed many animals in the forest, the animals decided to send one animal a day to the lion so that the other animals would be safe. When the clever rabbit was sent to the lion, he tricked the lion into believing that there was another lion in a well. When the lion jumped into the well to attack the other lion, he died.
