This is SUCH a cute story! I love the underlying message about how selfishness can hurt others around us. The illustrations are also incredibly adorable. ( )

Rabbit loves carrots and that's a big problem! Rabbit loves carrots a little too much. In fact, his carrots are crowding him out of his cozy burrow. When his friends offer to help, they're just asking for trouble, a lot of trouble!

Rabbit keeps hoarding up carrots, to the point that there is no longer room left in his house for him! When he asks for help from his friends, things only go for bad to worse as he hauls more and more carrots around with him each time he stays at a friend's house. How will the animals ever survive?

This short and sweet picture book shows that friendship and sharing ultimately win the day. There's also a subtler message about not being gluttonous. This could work nicely in a preschool classroom setting or a library storytime in addition to a one-on-one reading. The illustrations are nicely done and match the text while adding a little more. Book description
Rabbit loves carrots. Maybe a little too much. In fact, his carrots are crowding him out of his cozy burrow. When his friends offer to help that's just asking for trouble. TOO much trouble! This charming and lovingly illustrated picture book shows how friendships get us over the rough spots in life, even if the going gets a little bumpy!
