Member A loses his shit, Sanzo nearly dies, everyone punches each other and then hugs it out the end. At least there was some progress in the background involving our villain set? Although I still hate the scientist character with the stuffed bunny. He is pretty much the worst, ugh. At least the next volume looks like it will be heavy on Gojyo's back story which will be great. ( ) This volume starts off where Sanzo was poisoned by the scorpion youkai from the last volume. Kougaiji shows up and "rescues" the Sanzo party from the under-sand castle, but demands a fight with Goku before he'll let them leave to heal Sanzo. Goku, realizing he can't win a fight with Kougaiji with his power limiter on, takes it off. That's when the crap hits the fan. He beats the tar out of Kougaiji and Dokugakuji, then proceeds to whoop up on Gojyo and Hakkai when Sanzo steps in despite his fatal condition. Goku is one heck of a crazy badass when his power limiter comes off, it's quite a story. no reviews | add a review

Sanzo's life is on the line. He is stranded in the desert with no way out as Goku desperately searches for a way to save Sanzo from the poison coursing through his veins. An unlikely run-in with Kougaiji offers a possible cure. If Kougaiji is defeated, Sanzo may live. But the sacrifice of Goku's sanity may be too high a price to pay. After all, if Goku saves Sanzo, who will save Goku? No library descriptions found. |
