Around the farm is a great book to read to littles! It teaches them all about animals with bright, fun vibrant colors to grab their attention! Not to mention the sound effects that come with the book.

I really liked this book because it was simple but it was also informative about the animals on a farm. I liked the illustrations in this book because even though they weren't real life pictures they still depicted real animals without looking like cartoons. I also really liked how the book was organized. The book showed an illustration of the animal with the name of the animal highlighted along with a fact about the animal. The book also had a button that you can push to hear a real life sound the animal may make. I thought it wasn't too overwhelming for a children's informational book and it was just enough information to keep a young child interested. The main idea of this book is simply to inform children about the animals they may encounter while on a farm. ( )
