I originally planned to write a short review for all of the stories, but in the end I lost my notes and some of the stories blended together in my head, therefore I will just in general review the anthology, but there will be short reviews for the first three stories.
After these first three, the rest of the collection followed the same paths. Some I liked, others less. I wasn't that impressed with Weeper of Blood, which for a lot of people seems to be the reason to read this anthology. I think it's probably because I haven't read anything else in the series. On the other hand, I did quite like the short story from the Tome of Bill even though I was unfamiliar with that series as well.
~ My Big Fat, Accidental Superheroine Wedding ~ 2.5 Stars
I don't know with this story. It felt like I had missed a lot of the story by not having read anything else from the series. Not sure this was the right story to start the collection with. It was a weird kind of bizarre story including multiple superheroes with superpowers differing in apparent usefulness and an Amish wedding.
~The World, My Enemy ~ 3.5 Stars
I was really looking forward to this story as I quite enjoyed Otto von Trapezoid last autumn. This story takes place when he's still living with his parents in Vienna. It's bizarre, sometimes too much so, but I liked it.
~ Summer of Lob ~ 2 Stars
I think this could have been a really nice short story, but I had a serious problem getting into the story. It was probably just me, but it was not for me at this time at least. ( )
