When leprechauns Ari, Boo, and Col need to place the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, they cannot help getting into mischief along the way.

What do leprechauns do? They bury a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, of course. But as Mrs. Bally Bunion’s ox, Miss Maude Murphy’s hen, and Old Jamie soon find out, they can’t resist having a little fun along the way. For, besides burying pots of gold, mischief is what leprechauns do!From this amazing picture book duo comes a lively fun tale that’s perfect for mischief makers of all ages!

The three leprechauns must hurry to get to where they buried the pot of gold and dig it up before the rainbow comes. The sky is beginning to look gray and they know they don't have much time. On their journey to the pot of gold, the leprechauns try their best to avoid mischief, but the inevitable happens. After getting into a bit of trouble, the leprechauns finally make it to the pot of gold and place it at the end of the rainbow just in time. ( )

Three little leprechauns wake from a nap to see that the sky is filled with clouds and realize that soon a rainbow will appear and they must get to work. But instead of taking care of the pot of gold these leprechauns are bent on mischief. One trick after another is played on unsuspecting neighbors for supposedly this is what leprechauns do. An author's note at the end lends authenticity about these legendary creatures. Certaintainly a delightful tale to read around about St. Patrick's Day. ( )
