L’albo proposto da Rizzoli Lizard è davvero elegante, strisce in orizzontale per due grandissimi classici di Stevenson. Pratt e Milani, mica due così, ed infatti la classe straborda. L’isola del tesoro è sicuramente il lavoro di Stevenson più famoso e tra pirati e bucanieri il protagonista, Jim, un adolescente pieno di spirito di avventura si imbarca su un brigantino alla ricerca del tesoro sull’isola. Il secondo racconto, il ragazzo rapito, è, a mio avviso, di gran lunga superiore come qualità e storia. Lo stile è diverso, viene utilizzata la venatura degli acquarelli, ma anche la sceneggiatura è più avvincente, le peripezie del giovane orfano, tradito dallo zio, colpiscono di più. La classe di Pratt si vede, e come se si vede, ed anche l’amore dell’autore veneziano per l’avventura e per le leggende dei pirati, insomma Corto Maltese non nasce per caso. Come detto, ottima l’edizione grafica ed anche il corredo fotografico e documentale. Insomma. un classico per un classico. ( )
