This is a good choice for starting on this topic for either children or adults who wants something very brief. The author leans toward Richard III's guilt, but is pretty even-handed in laying out the arguments. There are lots of illustrations, which add to the attractiveness of the book, but the reader should be aware that they are mostly Victorian prints.

A better book for adults is A.J. Pollard's Richard III and the Princes in the Tower, which is also gorgeously illustrated. I don't recommend Alison Weir's the Princes in the Tower, unless one already knows a fair amount about the subject ( )
