I generally love books from this time period, but this story just did not draw me in. I was bored to the point that I was skimming pages. Catherine's breech pregnancy is the only part of the story that actually sounded remotely interesting because it was considered a fatal problem back in those days. The rest of the story just didn't capture my interest. ( )
