![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. Very silly. Very funny, and the best use of Literally I've ever seen in a picture book. Such a whiny penguin. ( ![]() so cute! I loved this. I'm not even sure why. But it was delightful. I love this book, it's funny, and the kids love it. It's great to read aloud. The pictures are amazing. The penguin complains about everything, but then a friendly walrus comes and tells the penguin to look around and see what you appreciate. But of course, he doesn't change. If you thought penguins were charming creatures dressed to impress, think again. This penguin is definitely a glass half empty sort of penguin. Penguin is here to tell you that life in Antarctica isn’t as cool as you think. In fact, it’s freezing. And noisy — penguins squawk a lot. And lots of things want to eat penguins. It’s not until a philosophizing walrus stops by that Penguin sees the beauty in life. But does Penguin agree?
