Good companion to the original series

While most of this was previously published on Pottermore, it's nice to have access to it in an easy to read ebook version. As its own thing, the background information it provides is lovely and insightful. ( )

This is more for the fans than for anyone else, but if you are a fan, it's awesome to read about the background of the books and how detailed the people and world is in J. K. Rowling's mind. ( )

So, if you want me to read a book immediately, make sure that the book has the word hogwarts in its title!!
I always liked Remus Lupin's character. He was a kind man and i cried when i read his death. Although Sirius Black will be my topmost crush and most cried over death, Lupin has a special place in my heart.
Minerva is the badass character and the best of all. Ok well, Luna also!!

To people who have not yet read Harry Potter : you are missing a hell lot ok? Just go and read it!!! ( )

Another nostalgia read, but unlike the ones that came before it, it's a bit more simple than the rest.

So what is it? Short stories about our favorite side characters? Minerva, Moony?

Well, sadly, no. These are character sketches. Mini-bios. You might learn some things about the characters that you may not have known, and that may be a given, but there's no real story involved. Just character sketches and their places in HP's life. Nice to have, but not especially fantastic. ( )

More info on Minerva McGonagall, Remus Lupin and Werewolves. I think the most interesting info from this book is how you become an Animagus! Loved it. ( )

Book description
Pottermore Presents is a collection of J.K. Rowling’s writing from the Pottermore archives: short reads originally featured on pottermore.com with some exclusive new additions. These eBooks, with writing curated by Pottermore, will take you beyond the Harry Potter stories as J.K. Rowling reveals her inspiration, intricate details of characters’ lives and surprises from the wizarding world.

These stories of heroism, hardship and dangerous hobbies profile two of the Harry Potter stories’ most courageous and iconic characters: Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin.

J.K. Rowling also gives us a peek behind the closed curtains of Sybill Trelawney’s life, and you’ll encounter the reckless, magical-beast-loving Silvanus Kettleburn along the way. [retrieved 9/7/2016 from Amazon.com]
