Deadwood, historical town of the West, is the setting for this mystery, suspense and ghost tale. This is a series for those of us who love ghosts, the paranormal, humor and some romance. This is a series that should be “read in order” as each new book builds upon the previous.

I laugh as Violet tries to juggle children, a job selling real estate which includes filming with a paranormal reality TV crew, the return of the ex-sperm donor of her children and his demands and her relationship with Doc.

I cringe for Violet as she keeps getting pulled deeper and deeper into the paranormal realm trying to satisfy the ghosts and ghouls that are demanding her help or her life.

Cooper is slowly being pulled into supporting Violet rather than just trying to throw her in jail. And, Doc, Nat and Zoe are there for her at all times.

I can’t wait to read the next in this series. ( )
