Started out just a bit slow, then built up momentum to where every page was just jaw dropping fantastic. 5 Stars and then some! Absolutely Amazing! I loved it. I didn't want it to end. I kept trying to read it slower so it would last longer. But I was so engrossed I couldn't stop. All the characters and situations are spellbinding. I think this is the best book in the series so far. You really got to know so much more about world and felt completely involved in what is happening. Even the way they seem to be living in both the New World and the Old World at the same time. There is romance, laughter, sorrow and a whole lot of confrontations and conflicts between the different characters that we have come know and love. And Layla! Her self-discovery has taken a long time, but she finally gets it! The writing is amazing. The fluidity just one of the things that keep you completely engrossed. 5 stars J.R. Ward!!
