This is a fantastic series of books for beginning readers. My son gobbled them up. The subject matter is interesting, and the photograpy is gorgeous. Lots of repetition, so they're great for children just learning to read. We read all the ones which were available back when they were the appropriate reading level for my son. (

This book has information on how different predators hunt, and how they live or get around. Every page has two “weird facts”- extra facts about the animals. There is also an extra fact list at the back. (
