A scholarly monograph written with the specialist fish scientist in mind, not the average fisherman or casual reader. Tells you everything you might want to know about, for instance, the Bridle Shiner, Lake Whitefish, and many more. One feature that I especially appreciate is the etymology of the scientific name of each species - something I wish more zoology books would give. ( )
