![]()
No current Talk conversations about this book. Great book to read out loud to kids! ( ![]() This story is comprised of tales of three different babies, one white, one bi-racial, and one Asian American. Each mini story highlights the love a particular family member has for that baby. Each story has repetitive words and phrases, which is a smart literary decision since babies love repetition. Young children can also see that although each one of these babies has its own unique physical appearance(s), all three are similar; common themes featured in this short book are love, joy, and the act of an older person taking care of a small child, helping him or her to flourish and grow. Babies being tickled. Charming and plus for diversity (interracial family). With vivid gouache paintings and simple, loving, repetitive phrases this picture book really stands out. Children will delight in the loving images of parents and their babies as they go about their day. It really captures the quiet loving moments that families have with young children. no reviews | add a review
