"Our lives are a collection of moments. Some utterly painful and full of yesterday's hurts. Some beautifully hopeful and full of tomorrow's promises. I've had many moments in my lifetime, moments that changed me, challenged me. Moments that scared me and engulfed me. However, the biggest ones--the most heartbreaking and breathtaking ones--all included him. I was ten years old when I lost my voice. A piece of me was stolen away, and the only person who could truly hear my silence was Brooks Griffin. He was the light during my dark days, the promise of tomorrow, until tragedy found him. Tragedy that eventually drowned him in a sea of memories. This is the story of a boy and girl who loved each other, but didn't love themselves. A story of life and death. Of love and broken promises. Of moments." --… (more)

"The world keeps spinning because your heartbeat exists."

This is the third book in the Elements series and can be read as a standalone. I have read the other three and loved them, and decided it was time to finish the series. I do not why I waited so long.

I highly recommend going into this blind, as it will just make the story that much better. Yes, there were things that happen that were predictable. However; it did not take away from the emotional impact the story will take on you. I was waiting for what happened, knowing it was going to come, and I still balled my eyes out (you will know what I am talking about when you read this).

I loved the love between Maggie and Brooks. This was not just about a romance, but about family. The parts with Maggie’s father, mother, and sister were also very emotional! I was hooked the moment I started this one, and I read it in one sitting. Be prepared to stay up all night to finish this and for your heart to break.

Overall, I loved this! ( )

Holy...shit. This book destroyed me, and gave me all the feels in the world all at the same time. I seriously loved this book, and to find out why it meant to much to the author to write it, and how hard it was for her...she wrote the perfect story. All her stories are amazing I highly recommend all of her books. ( )

Bello, ma gli manca qualcosa rispetto agli altri della Cherry. ( )
