I tried. This book was really interesting in the beginning, but the middle really dragged for me. ( )

It seems I read this in '04. Though I don't remember the book now, at the time, I had this to say:

Enjoyed some, but too long; sex content explicit but not erotic. ( )

very good start, good world building ( )

Jan11:

Characters: Moderately well done. I did enjoy about 2 of the 5 main ones. Still, many of them were very stereotypical.

Plot: Really not there. As predictable as you could imagine. Nothing really stand out at all.

Style: Entirely okay. Flashes of fun. Most of it just okay. Pretty much describes the book. ( )
