"Dinosaur!" is a huge book that has pretty much everything you would want to know about dinosaurs in it. It has a detailed table of contents and glossary, as well as an index. It talks about when and how dinosaurs lived on Earth, the time period for different dinosaurs, evolution of different types of bones and dinosaurs, defining a dinosaur, and so much more. There are many detailed pictures of dinosaurs, their bones, the muscular system, their mouth and jaws, what they ate, etc. I like this book primarily because it is pretty easy to understand. A lot of informational books I see are really cluttered and confusing, but this book has a lot of straightforward information in it without being too confusing. I really like the diagrams of different dinosaurs that are labelled and explained, as well as the facts about dinosaurs that are listed. If a class is doing a unit on dinosaurs, this would be a book to have on hand. It is great for middle school and perhaps upper elementary. It is a good reference for facts, or just a good book to have around for a dinosaur lover. ( )
