Szeles is to be commended, however, for her willingness to deal with the texts of Habakkuk and Zephaniah theologically in their final form apart from her views on how they obtained that form. Readers who do not share Szeles' presuppositions may nevertheless benefit from her exegetical insights.

Most Journal readers are probably not aware of how many fine biblical studies are produced by women. Here is an example. It would be a pleasure to study under Professor Szeles in a learning setting where she would be able to open the Scriptures like this. This reviewer looks forward to making use of this resource in teaching our course on these prophets.
