I’m not a fan of short stories, in general, but I did enjoy a couple of the stories in this collection. Edgedancer was excellent, and the main reason why I read this collection. I also enjoyed the Emperor’s Soul a great deal. (

I haven't gone through everything yet since my library checkout expired, and I have not yet read any Elantris and didn't want to go through the ones that would spoil that but eeeeee the Mistborn secret history is excellent!

If you've read the Mistborn Trilogy, definitely at least read that one (you may want to read the more recent Mistborn books first? Not totally necessary).

Also just read everything Sanderson has written. It's worth it (so far, I haven't literally read everything yet so can't speak to e.g. the Wheel of Time stuff he did). (

A (Great). Not every story in here is good, but most of them are. "Edgedancer" alone is great enough to get the book 4½ stars.
