It is the older edition of this title and it was the first of its kind and an enormusley important book for dress historians. Kompared to the revised and enlarged new edition published by the school of historical dress, the old book is printed in black and white and contains fewer costumes and thus fewer pages ( )

A "must have" if you make costumes. Loads of information, but you need knowledge in changing patterns if you try to remake the clothes. ( )
