Sommigen worden het slachtoffer van seksueel misbruik door medebewoners, anderen raken aan alcohol of drugs verslaafd. Zembla onderzocht de grenzen van de 'vermaatschappelijking' van verstandelijk gehandicapten en de uitkomst daarvan is te zien in deze documentaire.
