This is a great book for kids about friendship. It tells us some adventures about Cora the Cow.Cora the Cow loses her spots; she plops a patty; she crashes the circus. Whatever Cora faces, she will never feel upset. she just keep finding a friend and finally she made it. We may all know it is important to keep going, however, when we face something unexpected, we will give up. But Cora will not give up. It is a good story use simple words to teach us it is important to insist something we want to do. It provide an excellent concept of sprit of insisting.
It's a fantasy fiction book because all the animals are able to talk. Folktales: Stories from the oral tradition had their beginnings around hearthside and campfire. These tales were almost always fantastic in nature, involving magic or talking animals.
To teachers, it is a good story to teach student never give up and something about friendship;
To children, it is a good story to learn what is good for themselves when they meet troubles. They can know the important of insisting. ( )
