Pero antes debe conseguir quinientos dolares para llevar a su novia a El Paso, donde el aborto es legal. Por causa de un matrimonio fallido terminara en la ciudad de Mexico. ""Direccion equivocada: mismo pais"", dice el narrador. Algunos anos despues, el regreso a intervalos a su estado natal, Chihuahua, lo hara testigo no solo del destino de sus coetaneos -criminales y victimas-, sino del terrible estallido de la violencia durante el sexenio de Felipe Calderon. Asi, la primera novela de Daniel Espartaco Sanchez es tambien una alegoria sobre el mal, no el metafisico, sino el que tiene causa y efecto, y aguarda su momento bajo la superficie de las cosas.
