Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. I enjoyed book, wanted my very own Dante. Alexa and Dante were attracted to each other, but both of them were fighting it, because they did not want to get hurt. Alexa and Dante, had a very brief romance years ago, and Alexa broke it off because of her insecurities. Dante did not fight for Alexa when he was young, but now he was going after what he wanted, and she is it. Alexa's past boyfriends were losers, and one of them, Nick stole her idea for a restaurant, and she flipped and broke display, so he decided to sue her and her brother, because he would get recognition, and because he wanted Alexa. Dante and Alexa decide to have an affair, and they tried to keep feelings out of it, but it did not go as planned, they fell in love, but really they always did love each other but would not admit it. This was hot!!! ( )

Alexa and Dante have been tiptoeing around each other about their feelings for the longest time. When an ex of Alexa's sues her for damage to his property, as the family attorney Dante is the only one she can turn to.

Now that they must work in close proximity, the are forced to acknowledge their mutual attraction and do something about it. The only obstacle is Alexa is tired of falling hard and fast for the wrong guys so she doesn't want anything serious with Dante. But serious is all that Dante feels about her.

ARC provided by the author via NetGalley for voluntary review consideration. ( )
