It is individual stories not a trilogy series like I thought it was ( not sure why I thought that). I thought it was okay but I wasn't blown away. What I thought was different was the book was in three parts and when you read each part you get an alternative POV. The is a misunderstanding that leads to the break up of the couple. It is due to meddling ( don't want to give too much away) but it plays on insecurities of each of them which is why they believe it. Then the reconciliation. Vindictive other woman. no reviews | add a review

We start the book with Gavin seeing a flyer for a public appearance by an author who happens to be the girl who broke his heart. Her name is Baylor and he fell in love with her in college. The story switches to a flashback to show us how they fell for each other and how she broke his heart. When we get back to the present, we see the story isn’t as simple as it seems. Because apparently Gavin broke Baylor’s soul.
They find out pretty quickly what caused their split. But it’s been 8 years and Baylor wonders if they can love the people they’ve become. There’s a lot at stake, but it could all be too late.
Overall, I liked this story. Baylor and Gavin were dealt a terrible hand, but they made the most of it. Watching them fall in love was fun. It’s nice that they could get that back.
