This book is the telling of a friend with autism, and their love of planes. They go through how they love airplanes and talk about them and the different situations that have happened. This book also provides little "fun facts" about how kids with autism are different and specific things about them. I love that it shows the differences in people, but that it doesn't have to matter. This would be great for a class so kids can understand better.

This book is about two boys Nick and Zack. Zack has autism and Nick understands Zack's disability and celebrates their similarities and differences. This is a good book to introduce the concept of autism.

A book about a boy who's befriend has autism. Their friendship isn't defined by one of them having autism and are just like any other friends who love to play. A great book for 5 year olds and learning how people are not defined by of they have special needs. ( )

Tourville's writes about a boy with Autism. She depicts him in an integrated settings, showing him on a schools field trip among peers without disabilities. She promotes positives images of Autism by giving examples of what Zack can do instead of what he can't do. There are little side comments including facts about Autism that is helpful for readers with no knowledge of this disability. ( )
