This is about a girl who lives in the United States during the beginning of the revolutionary war. She lives in a town with her mother and father and her younger sister and brother and visits her wealthy grandfather on the plantation. She helps the rebels keep their gun powder, rescues a friends parent from jail for being a loyalist, and she helps a friend. This is a good book for any child to read who enjoys historical fiction.
