This is a sweet, simple love story. It's an easy read that moves along at a good pace. The characters are relatable. I thought the very similar last names was unbelievable and unnecessary. But I still enjoyed the book. ( )

I received a free early review copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This book is about Madeline "Maddy" Barrett and Chase Garrett. *SPOILERS*
Maddy's three year old son, Riley, mistakes Chase Garrett for his dead father, Chase Barrett at a rodeo. The two men's names are almost exactly alike and they have some of the same physical characteristics, as well as, being involved in the rodeo. All of this combined is very confusing for a young Riley, so Maddy and Chase are thrown together to try and ease Riley into the understanding that this new Chase is not his real father. All of the time spent together is causing them to both fall in love, but they have both been hurt before and are reluctant to believe this could be the real thing.
I enjoyed this book. It had some publishing errors, but was an easy read. ( )

What a sweet lovestory! This was a nice easy read with great characters. I am sad that it is part of the bull-riding series and we won't get to read stories about Maddie's brothers falling in love. We would aso get to learn more about the new ranch and Chase, Maddy and Riley. This was my first time reading Barbara Dunlop and I found her to be very easy to read. She is incredibly skilled at character development creating a cast of lovable and warm-hearted characters you will surely identify with. Editing left a lot to be desired.

I was given an advanced copy of this title in exchange for a review. ( )
