Review I was excited to see this book available because I love C.S. Lewis' Narnia series. (Although I haven't reread it in some time.) I am most familiar with the first book of the Narnia series although I have read the series through at least twice.

This book takes points from all books in the Narnia series and explores them with respect to how Aslan parallels Jesus. Some I had already picked up on, and some I had not. The author supports his positions with Bible verses.

The author calls it a devotional commentary--The word devotional may throw some people off since the format is not like that of most devotionals I've read. Each Narnia book has its own chapter, and there is definitely commentary, but it's not like a daily devotional. ( )
