The bad news? The world is ending. The good news? The Bad Guys are back to save it! Sure, they might have to "borrow" a rocket. And there might be something nasty in one of the spacesuits. And Mr. Piranha miiiight have eaten too many bean burritos. Surviving this mission may only be one small step for man, but it's one giant leap for the Bad Guys.… (more)

Another find entry into the bad guys who really just want to be good guys. There are tons of zombies running around and they’re trying to destroy the world. However the only way to save the world is to go to space. And space is going to be an interesting adventure for the bad guys. They’ll be danger, they’ll be action, and they’ll be a lot of farting. But can a fart save the world? You’ll only find out by checking it out. ( )

Oddly enough, I caught no hints from the title whatsoever. I'm not sure what that says about my sense of humor ;) There was plenty of, uh, gas in this installment of the Bad Guys.
After the mad furball, Dr. Marmalade escapes to the moon and blasts earth with his cute-zilla ray, there is a Zombie Apocalypse like never before. The Zittens are back in mass. But with company. Zolphins! Zuppies! Zomb-everything! It's madness! The world as the Bad Guys knew it is under siege and they have to do something. No better reason, in my book, for a little space voyage than saving the world. Even better is finding out just what that insane little furry guinea pig is just so...insane. This series is truly worth every read! ( )

Wolf and his friends head into space in order to track down the villain Marmalade. The Bad Guys are convinced that they can keep Earth safe. But who would ever expect bean burritos and farts to help save the day.

This book connects with the rest of the series but with every book the plot thickens and the books become funnier, this book incorporates teamwork and loyalty and trust between one another. It is a very funny and good book and I rate it a 7/10 and I recommend it to 8-10 yr olds ( )

The world is ending, but the Bad Guys are back to save it. Surviving this mission may be one small step for man, but it's one giant leap for the Bad Guys. Book #5

Heroic would-be-good bad guys - Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark, and Legs the tarantula - return in this fifth beginning chapter-book/graphic-novel devoted to their adventures, this time stealing a rocket, and blasting off into space in hot pursuit of that mega-villain, the mad scientist guinea-pig Dr. Marmalade. Can the companions reach the moon in time to stop the cavine villain from destroying Earth with his Cute-Zilla Ray? Can Agent Fox and her fellow fighters hold off the hoards of zombified cute animals, in the meantime? Will Mr. Piranha's burrito-eating (and subsequent gas) prove disastrous to the mission, or save it? Only time will tell...

I enjoyed The Bag Guys in Intergalactic Gas every bit as much as its predecessors, finding its pairing of madcap adventure-story with humorous cartoon-style illustrations quite amusing. This episode of the ongoing series - I learned at an event with the author today that there will be twenty (20!) volumes by the end - will have great appeal for young children who enjoy a little potty humor (think Captain Underpants, or Walter the Farting Dog), and like its predecessors, ends with a surprise that will have readers reaching for the next installment, The Bad Guys in Alien Vs. Bad Guys. I did not see Dr. Marmalade's true identity (as an invading alien in disguise) coming, and finished the book wondering whether Blabey will be able to continue pulling off these cliff-hanger conclusions. We shall see... Recommended to anyone who has read and enjoyed the first four Bad Guys books. ( )
