Very early work (1928) attempting to document the tools historically used in fiberwork. While it doesn't meet today's standards of documentation, it certainly has enough photos, paintings, and other information, to make it a worthwhile addition to my reference library. Some of the items were quite fun! ( )

Dedication
With admiration for the exquisiteness of her possessions, so refleting the charm and refinement of their collector; and with warmest thanks for the gracious permission most generously granted to reproduce some of these precious pieces, regardless of the risk and disturbance involved; I dedicate these pages on "implements of loving labor" to Mrs. De Witt Cinton Cohen
