This is a great rhythmic, rhyming book by Susan Stockdale. The reader is introduced to seventeen “fantastic” flowers. They resemble all kinds of different things. If you look closely, you can see upside down pants and even a monkey face in one of the blooms. The reader will also learn what a flower is and how it is pollinated. There are also real photographs of the flowers in the back of the book and what they are called and where they are located in nature. I would recommend this for anyone interested in flowers that are both unusual as well as fascinating. ( )
