I'm one that likes to stick to a reading list. However, I kept my list in limbo just so I could finish this series; I'm glad I did. This book is a great continuation of the Casey saga.

[Cue Cain's theme song] Tying up more loose ends, identifying new puppet masters, and welcoming the newest edition to her family are just a few things Cain does to protect her family and her business. There's still no closure concerning Agent Curtis, the Eatons (at least Nicola), and I feel we haven't seen the last of Hector/Marisol Delarosa and Tracy Stegal. Hopefully, there's more about Muriel and Kristen's relationship in the next book. Yep, I'm crushing on Muriel and want to see her happy. So I patiently await The Cain Casey Saga #7: The Devil ????????.

Is it just me or does everyone stay at the Piquant? ( )
