This book is about Jackie Robinson. In the beginning of the story, Jackie was a young boy with big dreams. He was a fast runner, high jumper, and a hard worker. He worked for his family by delivering newspapers and selling hotdogs in teh stadium of baseball games. One day Jackie realized there were no black males on the baseball teams. At a young age he knew it was not fair. Later when Jackie grew up he began to have a passion for baseball, he was so good he made it to the Big League. Many were happy, some were not. Jackie soon won trophy after trophy and became well known in history.

This is a very good book about Jackie Robinson's life. The book examples in depth from when he started to like baseball to his love for baseball.

In a classroom, we could play baseball in reccess as a class and introduce the sport to some who have never played. Also, we could even watch a baseball game and see what the environment is like.
