I had read a couple of Sisterchick books before, but it was so long ago I don't remember them. This was fun because I've been to Mexico, but did not have the experiences they did. I'm glad that the first person character, Melanie began a relationship with God, but it wasn't heavy handed or preachy.. Her sister, Joanne gives her things to think about and God does the rest. Hopefully, I;ll be able to read some other books this series or Ms. Gunn's other books. ( )
