This is a great story about being kind. Both the easy aspects of being kind as well as the more challenging. It’s talks about the waterfall effect of kindness and what it could become if everyone was kind. It also gives examples of how someone can be kind. ( )

Summary: A girl is at school when a classmate, Tanisha, spills grape juice on herself and all the other kids laugh at her. The girl tries to be kind to Tanisha, and then she wonders what it means to be kind, and how all of the little kind things we do can add up. In the end, she paints a picture of purple flowers for Tanisha and Tanisha hangs it up in her room.
