Typeface smaller and some extra details in his yarn ( ) This edition (published by Opal) seems well-translated, but I've no way to judge how much was lost from the original. I wish I could find more of the series, or knew a child so I could justify buying them. Great fun! The hens are addle-pated, as hens are, Findus is both like a child and like a young cat, and Pettson is kindly, but clearly is accustomed to living alone. Though it looks like a tots picture-book, it's a bit long and complex and probably better for age 5 or 6 up. no reviews | add a review

When Findus finds a tent in the attic, Pettson starts imagining what it would be like to go hiking by the lake and to cook on the grill as the sun is setting. But when the hens want to join in the fun too...things turn out very differently than what Pettson had in mind. No library descriptions found. |
