This math book introduces the concept of graphing by comparing things like cookies, bathing suits, etc. It shows how bar graphs can be used to find what is the most and least. It shows how Venn diagrams compare and contrast two things. It’s also shows how to use a pie chart and quantity graph also. ( )

Gonk the toad and Beezy the lizard have a contest and see who can make the best graphs. They do bar graphs, pie charts, Venn diagrams, quantity graphs, and even more, and they explain them with step by step instructions. This would obviously be an amazing book to use at the beginning of a graph unit, or anytime you introduce and teach a new graph. ( )

This book is all about different graphs that they make. It is kind of hard to follow along just because there is a lot going on for each page. But overall I think it has some good points that could help students maybe identify what kind of graph is on the page.
