And even though she knew better, Zara indulged in a cure for the small-town blues. It was supposed to be an uncomplicated fling-a few sizzling weeks before he went back to his life, and she moved on. generally i enjoy secret baby plots but this book was disappointing. I felt the beginning was great and super hot. Once the MCs reunited they had zero chemistry. It was boring and awkward. The Heroine slapped the hero and it seemed unnecessary and forced. Oh well.

Sarina Bowen is one of those authors whose books I know I will love before I even start them. This novel did not disappoint the story drew me in from the first and I was instantly intrigued by and rooting for the characters. Brooklyn Bruisers is a series for which I am eagerly awaiting the next installment. ( )

It was good.
There were a few emotional scenes esp when Dave meets his daughter for the 1st time. ( )
