Many families have unfortunately suffered the loss of a baby. However, it is seldom talked about, and is an especially difficult topic with children. The thought of discussing the death of a baby is sometimes an overwhelming subject for parents to tackle since they are experiencing heartbreaking emotions. Author Valle Rischer, who has experienced the loss of a daughter named Grace, tells the story of an angel that wanted to take a trip to earth to experience the love of a special family chosen by God. Angels on Earth addresses childrens questions about death with a sweet, non-threatening, simple story that is sure to help hurting parents deal with their pain, and help their children as well. Angels on Earth was written to help families and children who have experienced a loss, but can also be embraced by children of all ages because it is a touching story of a special guardian angel. Author Valle Rischer received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1995. She now practices three days a week with her husband Jon, who is also a dentist, in Columbia, Missouri. The majority of the time she enjoys spending with her children Christian, who is 3 years old, and Audrey, who is one year old. In her spare time, Valle enjoys exercising, reading, taking dental continuing education courses, and traveling with her family. She is an active member in her church, Our Lady of Lourdes.
