Of course I love everything Magnolia, but this cookbook is the real deal. Practical, delicious recipes for real life that my family will actually eat. ( )

Recipes high in sugar or lists of how many cans of things you'll need. Book is filled with pictures of Joanna Gaines in white walled rooms. If you're a fan of the brand you may enjoy this book.

The polar opposite of L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food by Roy Choi, Tien Nguyen, and Natasha Phan. ( )

    Dedication
    To Chip and the kids,

You inspire me not only in the kitchen,
but in every part of life. I love to cook

in no small part, because of the excitement

and appreciation you have shown for my

home-cooked meals all along the way.

Our time together in the kitchen and the

countless hours we have spent around the

table are my favorite memories of all.
