No current Talk conversations about this book. I try to like this book but I just don't enjoy it as much as the rest of the series. ( ![]() (component - see primary entry) This... had everything, and I loved it to bits. Very, very well executed *and* the writing was fun. Also elements of Romeo and Juliet all over the place, but *shrugs* can't have everything, and it didn't lean too heavily on that. Or in the ways it might have. I wish this book had a much clearer intro and one of the main characters had an easier to pronounce name, otherwise this book is okay. I also wish there wasn’t an unnecessary evil scene that involves violence against kids and adults. My favorite of the first four Chrestomanci books. Charming, funny, heartwarming. no reviews | add a review
