Epigraph
Lloyd-Jones asked a friend to preach at his funeral on the themes of the loveliness of Christ and obtaining an abundant entrace into the eternal kingdom. As the minister was getting ready to leave, Lloyd-Jones called him back and said, "come her, my boy. I want you to remember one thing. I am only a forginen sinner--there is nothing more to me than that. Don't forget it."
Dedication
To the elders at Bethlehem Baptist Church: One of the greatest joys of my life is the partnership we share in the greatest cause.
