A wolf is tired of his reputation as a Bad Guy and decides to be a Good Guy. He rounds up other notorious bad guys - a snake, a piranha, and a shark - and comes up with a scheme to set 200 dogs free from the pound. (But first, they practice by rescuing a cat from a tree.) Grayscale art, easy to follow panels, lots of humor. ( )
This fiction comic style book is very funny, a bunch a villain character, from other fiction tales get together, summon by Mr. Wolf, who is trying to convert bad guys into good guy, and start “The Good Guys Club”, where all members are previous bad guys. They start by trying to rescue a cat stuck on a tree, whom, as soon as he sees the want to be heroes, is frightening to death. Their final mission is to rescue 200 puppies from the City Pound. Mr. Wolf comes up with the idea of sending Mr. Shark as a lady looking for her lost puppy, so that the guard opens all the dog cages, and then Mr. Wolf would throw them through the window to guide the dogs scape, after many failed attempts, they are finally in, but the dogs are afraid of them and started running the other way until Mr Shark scare them and turn the other way, where Mr. Wolf was tearing the window and making a hole in the wall, across which they all scape. Mr. Wolf wants to know how it felt to do something good, and they all felt so good, that now they want to be part of ‘The Good Guys Club”. I think it would attract young boys, since all the character al male.
This book was a great graphic novel and I think younger boys will love this series. This is about different characters such as a shark, wolf, snake, and piranha are looked at as scary. They don't want to be seen as scary to anyone and are trying to do tasks to be better. Even though some of their scary characteristics come out, they move past it and are trying to do good deeds.
This book is about a wolf who decides he doesn't want to be a bad guy. He puts together a group wth other villains the shark, piranha and snake. Together they try to be good. Their first mission is to set free 200 hundred dogs from the pound. The dogs are unsure of these new good guys though.
I like the 'talk to the camera' style. Not in love with the characters or their dynamic yet, but I like the sentiment of the series. It's got a fun premise.
The Bad Guys, Mr. Wolf, Mr. Shark, Mr. Snake, and Mr. Piranha, want to be heroes, and they decide that the way to do it is free the 200 dogs in the city dog pound--but their plan soon goes awry.
